WHO WE ARE - Active...Giving...Caring

We are the Body of Christ.  Each week we gather to worship, sing, and pray in a place called First United Methodist Church. Many of us once lived in other parts of the country but now call Hendersonville home, so we welcome new-comers and hometown folks alike. We are an active church with more than 80 different organized ways to serve our community. We are a giving church that reaches out to people of all ages and stages of life here locally and around the world. We are a caring church that is part of a connectional worldwide church that believes in social justice, providing help to those less fortunate than ourselves, and providing caring Christian education to all of God’s children. This is part of who we are, but there is much more.  

You can learn a lot about us from exploring this website, and we certainly encourage you to do so; however, we would really like to meet you in person. Consider this as an invitation to join us in person at any of our three Sunday services, Wonderful Wednesday Evening Fellowships, or just drop by and visit our staff any time.
