Music Ministry

The Music Ministry of First United Methodist Church is one very large family of many choirs and ensembles that span age groups from children to adults.  These choirs and ensembles are described below. All musicians are volunteers and provide varied genres of music from Baroque to contemporary Christian in praise of God's name.  

During any given week, a total of 190 directors and volunteer musicians attend weekly rehearsals and worship services.  Their stewardship of time and talent far exceeds the worship hour with rehearsals in church, at home, and leaving Sunday School early to prepare for the Sunday worship services.  We are blessed, privileged and honored to praise God's name, proclaim His word with music and lead our congregation into His presence with the musical gifts and talents He has given to us.
